Anderson Pro Audio is a Live Sound Reinforcement Company based in the Northern Virginia area that operates in the Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland region. The company is run by the brothers Anderson; Robbie and Dan. Dan's been involved in live music and sound for the last 15 years. Robbie has been involved in live sound, micro-electronics, and general technical services for the last 20 years. Their skill sets compliment each other very well, and they are both avid seekers of knowledge, with an ever growing yearn for more information. Both have a knack for creating a great mix in any room. They've trained with some of the most respected, well known engineers in the area, have read numerous books on the topic, and are always looking for ways to better their "product". A great audio engineer is talented in both art & science, and that's exactly what Robbie and Dan are. They specialize in sound reinforcement for small to medium sized venues as well as large venues and outdoor festivals, and run their business with both the artists and the crowds' best interests involved. At the end of the night, everyone will leave satisfied.
In addition to mixing your band using our gear, we can mix on a house PA system or the band's PA system. Although we'd prefer to use our own system because we know we have all of the tools to create an optimal mix, we have the skills to sit in on any size analog or digital system.
Our rigs are mostly digital at this point for multiple reasons. The most important of which being the digital consoles afford the ability to recall all your settings minimizing the time required for sound check. This also allows us to mix remotely with an iPad. This means that we can stand next to you at the stage and listen and adjust your monitor mix and not be on the other side of the room trying to communicate with you through a talkback mic. The remote mixing capability also helps in situations where the board needs to be placed sidestage for your event. Weddings, private parties, etc. A lot of times these events don't allow for an optimal placement of the console in front of the band to mix appropriately. With the ability to walk around the room with an iPad and not be tied down to the console location, our ability to make you sound the best to your audience is dramatically improved.
