Live Recording: If you're interested
in a live recording, look no further! My sound board has the ability
to record each channel as a seperate WAV file. I'll record the whole
night, and supply you with a DVD of raw data. All track recordings are
"pre-everything". This means that they are simply the raw
track, without any EQ/processing that I may add to it in a live situation
(read more about it here).
Simply take these WAV files to a studio engineer (I know a few great
ones if you need resources) and have them make you a live mp3!
In addition to mixing your band using my gear, I can mix on a house
PA system or the band's PA system (a few of the above pictures are
of me mixing the house system at Ned Devines & Clarendon Grill).
Although I'd prefer to use my own system because I know I have all of
the tools to create an optimal mix, I have the skills to sit in on any
mid sized system.
As well as training with the local greats, I'm also a part of an online
community of sound reinforcement professionals at ProSoundWeb.com.
There is a wealth of knowledge in these forums and whenever I have the
time, I read up on the latest topics and issues. |
